Privacy Policy
Effective April 20, 2026. Last reviewed April 20, 2026.
LeadGen Economy does not collect personal information directly.
No forms, no newsletters, no user accounts. Aggregate usage is measured through Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) and Cloudflare Web Analytics. Both set a client-side identifier that counts as personal data under CCPA, CPRA, and GDPR – we honor your opt-out rights under those laws and respect Global Privacy Control signals.
What we collect
Aggregate analytics for site operations and audience understanding. No personally identifying information is captured by this site directly.
| Source | What it records | Governance |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager | Page views, referrer, device type, approximate geolocation, scroll/engagement events, outbound link clicks. Uses cookies (e.g., _ga) and a client-side identifier to de-duplicate visits. | Governed by Google's Privacy Policy. IP anonymization is enabled on the GA4 property. |
| Cloudflare Web Analytics | Page-view counts, referrer domains, coarse device/country data. No cookies, no fingerprinting. | Aggregated; not traceable to individuals. |
| Cloudflare Pages logs | Standard HTTP metadata (IP, user agent, timestamp) for delivery and abuse protection. | Per Cloudflare's retention policy. |
Cookies
Google Analytics sets first-party cookies on page load (_ga, _ga_*) to count unique visitors. These are not essential for site function; they enable audience measurement. The site does not use tracking cookies for advertising, retargeting, or cross-site identity.
To block GA cookies entirely, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, enable Global Privacy Control in your browser, or use an ad blocker.
What we don't collect
- Email addresses, names, phone numbers, or other direct identifiers – no forms exist on the site
- Newsletter signups (none exist) or user accounts (none exist)
- Advertising retargeting pixels, third-party ad networks, or audience graphs
- Cross-device identity matching or data sales to third parties
Your rights under CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, and state laws
GA4 stores a client-side identifier and IP address. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), and similar state laws, that counts as personal information even though no form on this site collects it directly.
We affirm the following rights:
- No sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share the data Google Analytics collects, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC) honored. We treat the GPC header as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing for California residents and as a general opt-out signal for visitors in other jurisdictions.
- Right to know, access, correct, and delete. Because this site holds no identifying profile of you, there is typically nothing to return. Submit a request to admin@leadgen-economy.com and we will confirm in writing.
- No discrimination. Exercising your rights does not affect your access to or experience of the site.
For data held by Google (the GA4 processor), you can access, export, or delete it through Google's own tools. See Google's Privacy Policy and My Activity.
Third-party links
Outbound links lead to regulators, industry publications, and vendor documentation. Their privacy policies apply once you leave this site. We do not track which outbound links you click beyond what GA4 records as part of standard event tracking.
The book The LeadGen Economy is sold through Amazon, Apple Books, and Google Books. Those platforms' privacy policies govern your transaction.
Data retention
GA4 data retention on this property is set to 14 months (the default maximum Google offers for event-level data). Cloudflare logs are retained per Cloudflare's own policy. This site retains no additional copies.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information about them. If you believe a minor has submitted information to this site, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
Material changes get a new effective date at the top of this page. This page is the canonical source – no separate archive. Minor edits (spelling, formatting) do not trigger a new effective date.
